Curious as to what the seat tube decal is just above the BB shell. I was also curious as to how the year determination was made. Serial #? Fork design looks newer than '82.

Edit: Oops, I didn't see the new set of photos before my post. "Made in Taiwan"

About the 1982 year, I found a same frame on "mombat". That bike was 1982, as said there and with s.n. MD2013890
This one has the s.n. MD2013686.

Thanks for your clarification regarding serial #. Unfortunately, we run into conflict with your bike having a "Made in Taiwan" decal which may indicate that the "M" designator was used for another location also be it by mistake or intentional. It could be that the location decal was wrong, but I would assume that the frame was painted and finshed in situ to where the frame was built and serial number stamped on it. Not sure if assembly of it was also done at the same location. Malaysia and Taiwan are somewhat regional neighbors, but still about 2000 miles from each other.
I would bring this to the attention of Mr. Kaminer since he may have some insight on this and also want to add this to the database as an anomoly to the serial number convention he has listed.
