I just got this 24" a couple weeks ago and started taring it down. I'm leaning towards pig rather then Klunker. Mainly because I'm building the same make and year 20" pig for the MBBO over in Rat rod Bikes.
24" Hawthorne.

Will this be a new trend for the custom bike guys ??
New Trend? ... 24 inchers have been the overlooked bicycle, I'm always looking for them at Shows & Swaps, you would think there would be lots of parts available, rarely. Ballooner stuff is a tough find, you mostly see middleweight stuff.
There something you don't see often and make great riders!

I rarely see one at any of our shows. I had 2 and nice ones with tanks. You have to almost pay to get rid of them.Parts are also a problem finding.

That would be a keeper for me. How many egg cartons do you want ?? NO,you cannot come out to get it.Stay in Oregon !
Now that you mention it, I might just make it a wall hanger. I've been trying to sell it for the last ten years, but the only taker I've ever had, wanted to turn it into a lamp. I'm not against making lamps out of stuff, but I thought this one deserved to be ridden.

If you made the bike into a lamp you could always roll up the cord and still ride it.
