Need some help, went for a long ride on my 1896 Victor this morning and heard something “Pop” when I bounce over a sharp sidewalk edge. Need help for a replacement. Let me know what you have and measurements you need. Rear holes are 3 3/8” apart and front to back are 6 3/4”. Serious help for my favorite bike. Thanks in advance, Fred

Try to compression fit a +/- 1 1/2" mild steel sleeve over the break and then tack weld the ends of the sleeve to the spring steel.

Oh, then lose 30 lbs.

Buy a Paul Watson saddle to ride on. I would have never ridden that original.

I rebuilt the seat out of ironwood 8 years ago. It was meant to be ridden, I’ve enjoyed the experience/rides and wouldn’t change a thing.
