Can't decide which color tires...

Those red whitewalls are pretty cool. I am tempted to put a bike together just to put them on.

I would go black.

If you go brown, the quick bricks are darker than the continentals. Brick reds would look good also, I think. Here are examples of both on a earth color bike. As of now neither are on it, went with the continentals.

It will be a rider for sure. What I have available are white, red and blackwall. The blackwall are a bit too boring for me on this bike. I like johns(jd56) idea for brown tires but I would have to buy them. I already have the other colors in stock. Thanks for all the input. Rob.

I searched for a good picture of a set of dark brown Duros that I was talking about and for a set of gray Duros (which I can't find at the moment, but I do know they are available, and would look great on a bare metal frame). But I did find a picture of a set of (possibly 3.0" tires) boa-g dark brown tires for an idea of the color.

Going to take them off my 46 dx, now I need to decide weather I want to put a set of johns royal chain whitewalls that I have sitting idle, or black walls.

Those things are huge. Think they're safe for prewar triple drops?

BOA-G are 26" x 3. 45".
Which I have installed on a large Zeppelin bike project. These tires will go with the scheme of the huge tank which I have on the bike.

( I lowered the tank tube, & installed the tank. I will finish with welding it to the seat tube.)

These tires may be too huge for your frame.
Perhaps the "Fat Franks" ( 26"x 2.36") in white might fit without any modification.

I have a pre-war bike that is sort of a motobike & I will probably
stay with all black or white in a more standard size tire.
