It looks like the marks are red on your hub. ??

Thanks, this is great information. The red marks are on the outside of the hub near where the wire connects. I circled them in the attached picture.

as @Miq said, you need to line those up in 4th on that hub and it will be significantly better.

Thanks everyone for your help with this, I adjusted the cable adjustment barrel as indicated and the red dots moved into perfect alignment. I will give it a test ride later today, but I am confident this fixed my issue. The people on this forum are the best!
