My deepest condolences to the Christie family. Words cannot describe how great of a guy Don was, and how important he was to many of us. I didn’t know him as well as many others, but over the years we got to know each other at various shows/meets and built a friendship that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Thank you so much for everything Don, I can’t wait to ride with you again soon.
I never knew this gentleman either, but the outpouring he is receiving tells me that I wish I had known him.
The comments and photos says it all that Don was a heck of a guy and he will be greatly missed.
I‘m very sorry. RIP Mr. Christie.
Wow, its really sad to see this. It's been awhile since I've chatted with Don. I didn't realize his health had declined. We only met in person once out in Nashville for the joint ride but had lots of conversations about bikes over the years. I had a blast hanging with him and his wife Carol in Nashville, bar hoping down Broadway. Just fun people to be around. They seemed like a great match. Condolences to his whole family. Rest in Peace Schwinn Doggy.
