Autocycleplane

Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Good original survivor. All original except for tubes and tires, which are modern repro knock-offs. I received the bike without a chainguard, so I threw this one on there. 1940 dated crank, torrington 8 pedals, torrington boy scout bars, wald #3 stem, messinger saddle, coke bottle grips, new D rear hub, Planes and Trains badge - it's all there. Light works too! Rides great, rims could use some more elbow grease to clean them up.

I'm thinking $600 + shipping, if anyone is interested PM me an offer and your shipping zipcode. I can send better photos too. Thanks for looking!!

Is the bike in the background a 1937 BA67 ? Nice bikes!

Yup! Or what is left of one.. Before the purists get upset let me just say it was the early 90s and I was in college - hogging out the headtube for a 1 1/8" Chris King headset seemed like the right thing to do at the time. I had 40 Ace Fenderlight tanker at the time as well and wanted something lean and mean to ride in the mountains. My back was much stronger then...

It's been a full dresser with B model fenders and 6 hole carrier for periods of time, now it's back to a klunker. Sadly it's beginning to crack but I love it so much since I have had it so long that I will fix it or retire it.

Exactly, also known as the Men's Standard. The equipped model is in the 40 catalog, between the Autocycle/Hollys and DX pages..
