Not to mention these iconic one-offs.
Nobody paid attention to them then, and certainly wouldn’t today, if they saw one on the road, not over seeing an old Camaro, or Mustang, or Challenger.

Nah, people just hate custom vehicles of any kind…….

Speaking of Batmobile ... George Barris endorsed this bicycle made by NIRVE ... Batt Kruiser Limited Edition ... they are very sought after.

That jacket looks correct for the Bandito, it would tend to draw the eye upward away from said bike hahaha
Said by many in the Kustom car world back then, the jacket is Gold because everything Barris touched turned to "GOLD". He was an incredible man at the right time, just like Big Daddy Ed Roth, Von Dutch, etc. but that's a different tale! ... They all made some Bad Ass Ugly Kustom Kreations! ... in the eye of the beholder.

I was digging through my phone last night and wanted to add these pictures to the archive. I found this bike last year. It was dropped off and donated to a bicycle recycling program in Rochester NY. They gave me a call and asked me if I was interested in it before it went to the scrap pile. The place is literally 1/4 mile from a scrap yard and they have scrappers stop in daily to get the “junk” bikes. I quickly realized what an important bike this is. I wanted it to go to a museum so people can see it. The strong national toy museum in Rochester NY was not interested. I talked to Brant Mackley for advice and he recommended Bicycle Heaven in Pittsburgh PA. The bike was then sold to Craig Morrow. It is now on display in his museum. Go check it out!
