Is the Brooks saddle-seat customized, or does Brooks make them with all of those (dual-compound) springs?

It comes like that. It's the B135 "with additional springs for upright riding". Kind of pricey but I feel like these seats and other Brooks products are sometimes the cherry on top... Timeless style yet unique. In my opinion those are two qualities hard to find in such a well made product. No they don't sponsor me lol

My most recent BMX cruiser build. Not a klunker nor a strandie in my view but you sure see a lot of them running up and down the beach.

36 Schwinn built BFG with a Giant cromo fork, 80’s Dia-compe canti brakes, 3pc cranks, SA 2 speed kickback and skiptooth. I built it from a wrecked and bent frame. I was surprised how well it performed on its maiden ride and I was even more surprised it tipped the scales a little more than my 1980 Kos.

Picked this up today. I’m not sure where I’m going with it. According to the serial number it’s from Jan 12, 1950. I’m keeping the fork and coaster. Beyond that, it’s up in the air.

I know, right! I yanked it out and there was still about 7" inside the seat tube. The previous owner was 6'4" tall. I can make 2 or 3 seat posts out of it!
