EESH bikes... I get it...transortation, and less cars... but where i live? mostly lazy kids
I guess too weak to pedal any more since the phones sapped all the strength?
On the road, obeying traffic laws...sure. But on our beach strand/bike path...
they terrorize, zero regard for cyclists, and it blows.

Nothing is wrong with electric bikes, mopeds, Whizzer's, motorcycles etc. It's all about how they are used.

It's the "wild, wild west" for EBikes today, no laws, no rules are observed by the riders. The local and state governments do not seem to care for our safety, while they continue to push all forms of electric vehicles. As a motorcycle rider they expect me to pay the fees, buy the operator's license and vehicle registrations, then raise the license plate fee on every vintage vehicle I own to over $150/yr, and I watch Ebikes be purchased with my paid fuel taxes. In the past year, one of my friends purchased two new electric delivery trucks for his company with a $40K tax incentive from the state. The problem is much larger than a few unsafe Ebikes used on a bike path.

As cyclists of all kinds, we will eventually be impacted with government fees and rules that are implemented by this madness.
