Finally riding a big boys bike
That has to be one of the first models they made. In the late 90's I had a later model klein that still shared some frame similarities to the one you have. I really enjoyed riding that bike, and at the time they were considered very light race / single-track trail bikes. I ended up selling mine over 20 years ago, and its one of the few I miss.
A few years ago I got nostalgic for a lighter weight aluminum hardtail and ended up picking up this one.
This k2 is not nearly as nice as my old klein was, but is also pretty light and reminded me just how harsh of a ride a aluminum hardtail mountain bike can be. When out on a trail now, my old bones now need a softer ride.
