Other then a correct set of handlebars this '81 Cruiser is up and rolling. I got these correct Cruiser HD S-2 wheels with a Bendix 76 hub thanks to @Xlobsterman and a set of high pressure WW knobbies from @mac9lxx who is giving killer deals on these tires. This rides smooth as silk with the deluxe spring fork.

It looks like those wheels cleaned up nice for you! You have to love the Schwinn chrome!

Yeah, the full size racks look funny without fenders. The tubular ones are the way to go, or I've used one of the shorter chrome wire(or shopping cart, lol) racks off of Murray middleweights and lightweights. They're compact and not as distracting as the long Schwinn ones.
 
I was not sure, I had it so I gave it a try. I wouldn't mind a rack on this bike, maybe something more tubular and modern. I would love one of the wire racks they offered but rarely see them.

Was in a LBS a few weeks ago and saw these hanging on the wall. The bottom where the three bars come together reminded me of the other thread about them.
