I've got some momentum on this project again! Snatched the carburetor off and gave it a nice bath & loofa in some gasoline

Also, spent some time trying to actually see the counter sprocket. More progress pics to come. Got some parts acquired and some parts painted.

I started some bolts on their way in my new vibratory tumbler today. Here's the before photo. This is the $70 5lb model from harbor freight. I'm using the rust cutting media to see what happens. Surprisingly, it's not very loud. It's in the basement rockin' out - up here it sounds kinda like my sleepy-time noise noise machine.

Ahhh shooot. The ceramic polishing media was a little disappointing. The parts didn't really look any different after 6 hours. The ceramic chunks are so big they don't seem right for these little parts. I've got some walnut shell media on the way and I'm hopeful that will put a little shine on things.

My son and I got up early and went out to a car show and the only photo I have that is relevant is this one:

It's a huge day! The front fender replacement arrived today - from Italy. After almost a year of daily searches on eBay I finally have it in my hands. Now, I've got to figure out how to match the orange paint on the other parts
