No it was a bolt-on.

This one recently surfaced. Wish I’d had been the one to find it! Although the Cook Diamond frame would have come with the cantilever bosses, they would have been added to the Kos fork-

I'm not sure it is a CBR. The chain stays look "Lagunaesque". I could well have been one of the CBR employees "one off" bikes. It was no secret that when Laguna Dist. had orders for bikes but Taiwan wasn't delivering on time they had CBR make the frames for them. I also know that Kook that bought CBR from Gary came from the road bike building world and started silver soldering "braze-on's" for cable guides, etc. VARY RARE BIKE!

Getting more info on the bike above, it is a Kos after all. I had thought Cook because I believed the headtube was a machined one. Turns out that’s a piece of tube on the lower headset. Oops
