Finally riding a big boys bike
I have a NOS Delta Ball light I bought on auction about 5+ years ago for less than $50.00 shipped. Seller back then didn't test it and selling as it. Being it was NOS I never had an issues with lights other then minor etching the contacts or bulb replacements. This one has no battery tray yet has the other elements that contacts the bulb like other lights has. The insides show no signs of damage or scratches. Mine was missing the paper work but I did see one from a few sellers on eBay selling same light and one has the paper work that it requires C batteries as it is a C cell bicycle light. What is unique it is plastic shell besides the metal switch on top and mounting clamp. One seller showed the insides of theirs which looks like it was coated with some paint? mine is silver looking being of the chrome finish on other side. Still theirs same as mine, no battery tray nor any wires that other lights have to contact to battery tray?. Weird but still a nice looking light. I might have to convert mine to led that a friend can do to have it work. Anyone know or seen these lights by Delta? appears on my box it was sold at Sears back in the days and at that price has o be 50's or 60's. The ones on auction are high prices. But anyone can ask what they want. Mine NFS.
