So very Jealous! While @Jimmy V and Cathy were soaking up the sun and vintage bicycles, their friends back home were doing their best to enjoy some sort of biking and wondering "just why do we live here?"

It must be really nice to be able to get out of Dodge and head out to Tombstone for better weather.

We are VERY lucky to be able to come out here. I lived here for many years and my family is here. And I have close friends that I've known for decades.
They make it possible for us to be able to take winter breaks here. And being retired allows us to be here longer.

Riding with the So. Cal. vintage bike people out here has opened up a new world for me. Great people, phenomenal bikes, and of course good riding weather most of the time.

I am VERY THANKFUL for my vintage bike riding friends out here, all that I have met through the CABE. I don't recall how many years ago, but I saw Franks @cyclonecoaster.com posts about the monthly rides and thought that I'd really like to do that. And Mark @tripple3 posts about his beach rides. So I made contact and got a very quick response. They have been very welcoming, and have become good friends. I have more friends out here now than I did when I lived here...LOL.
I shipped myself a bike from home to keep here when I first started riding here. My wife Cathy wanted to ride too so through the generosity of a few of the CABERS out here we were able to borrow a bike so she could ride. I have since bought her a bike so we are able to do the group rides as well as local rides on our own. So Thanks again all! @cyclonecoaster.com @cyclingday @mrg @Cory @tripple3 and many others that I have met.
