Am currently polishing and waxing the frame for resto, looked up the Schwinn dealer on decal and found this thread..cool. I think his shop is closed now, about 6 yrs ago I read.

I'm working on a 24 inch Schwinn Breeze single speed girls bike and it was sold by a shop in Kettering Ohio and my understanding is that it is still there. No idea how long it's been there though. I'll go out to the garage and take a picture of the shop decal and post it

The Schwinn shop I worked at back in the 70's was in business for 54 years, and closed for good on Oct. 31st 2017

Barnard's Cyclery in Oak Park, IL was established in 1911 and is still going strong. This was my go to shop when I lived in Oak Park, Illinois (I moved last December 2014). Two brothers own and operate the shop now (possibly related to the original owners???). They have always been very helpful and knowledgeable. They have an amazing collection of vintage Schwinns in their shop. Below is the link to their shop:
