I don't usually post much, ( I'm too busy riding) 
......but thought you all might like this one.
I work in a public service position and was aproached by an angry young lady (my guess in her early twenties,
(????wrote a long dialog and the site wiped it out..UGH! I'll condense.)
....she wanted the time, I twisted my wrist to show her as I was already helping someone else, she WENT OFF!!
"I can't read that!...can't you just tell me?!!...I thought she was kidding, but NO!
She wasn't wearing glasses or seem to be sight impared.
Do they not have analog clocks in classrooms any longer?
I have electric bikes also for long rides my body can't handle, but would much rather pedal to propel.
We can only hope younger generations will learn to balance tech with some old school values of detailed communication and corporate entities will not lead/force them into the abyss or destruction.

unfortunately not all will be able too, It takes a conscious parent, guardian , whatever to instill that in them. The schools are too overwhelmed dealing with kids who's parents are clueless and can only teach the minimum, if that. As the generations go the number of clueless parents increases therefor the number of clueless kids increases and so on. I have made sure my kids have it straight ,my only hope is some of the clueless kids see how they do things and mimic them instead of following down the same path their parents are on. Not all of this is intentional many parents are unaware of how much their ignorance or lack of education is affecting their kids. Many in our society have the belief that the schools are responsible for raising our kids, we need to change that narrative. We need to focus on those who work for it and understand how to make it in society without depending on others. Unfortunately this change will mean "some children will be left behind'
I need the schools educating my kids not raising them, as of now that is not the case. I see my kids education slowed down at school by the lowest common denominator, that has to change but I live in NY so instead that means private school.

IQ collapsed after the printing press was invented because people didn't need to remember everything. Now writing is under threat. Helping causes problems and this will continue until humans become too dumb to find the reproduction orifice.

People have lacked critical thinking skills for several decades now, it’s just gotten noticeably worse the last few years.
Why think when you can just ask SIRI?
They think it’s stupid to think when you can just ask and receive. Unfortunately the answers aren’t always correct or true, but, no matter.
Fun fact: the average Gen Z has a of repertoire of 10 “big” words they use in conversations that they, themselves, have no idea of their meaning. Neither do any of their ilk. They just want to sound like they are smart and important. Nobody questions each other because they are afraid of sounding stupid in front of their friends.
So, when they use AI to respond, or create, they are incapable of noticing any anomalies in the artificial content anyway because they are fake, phony, and false themselves.
It’s a terrible tragedy what is taking place right in front of our eyes.

AI for old bikes is useless. I was curious and clicked on the "learn more from ai" button on Facebook the other day under a post and it basically reiterated what the poster said and then had a bunch of non relevant bicycle info under it. Basically a: Columbia made bikes in 1898 they came with tires and handlebars. Some of these bikes also could have come with derailuers to change the gears. Wtf is that lol?!?!
