Phantom Rising From The Ashes

I just acquired this crusty Black Phantom yesterday. It has obviously been involved in a fire but I have no idea of the circumstances. I thought it might make a fun rider! Please excuse the blurry photos. I am not sure what was going on with my camera.

I like it...and it's story! I would service it and keep it as intact as possible. Then take it back to the previous owner so that they may ride it once more....

Worked on the Phantom yesterday. Batteries had been left in the tank and tail light. (Should I have expected anything less???)

The tank on my 38 was on a bike that was in the garage of a house that burned down. This tank was originally blue and cream! Perfect for this one! Lmao
