They are not a bad ride, third gear goes pretty fast. The one I have needs a shift cable. it's stuck in 3rd gear and I ride it ok, not fun going up hills.

Congrats! Nice score! They are a bit expensive nowadays but that is to be expected. I picked up several of these for my sons to ride in the late 90s. They were rock stars in our neighborhood. Today these bikes are like unicorns. Often heard about but virtually never seen on the road.
