Bought this 52 from Louis Wiklund a few years ago. Wrong light, that I am going to replace. Re-chromed fenders and tank. .Real nice rider. Only person that rides this baby is me. Nicest bike I have. Always take the best of care with it.
Does one risk a curse for showing, before a CL deal is finally consumated?
This, I am interpreting from the dropout serial is 1946. I had little luck finding a photo of a Columbia with just one top tube to help I.D. Is this what is called a middleweight? Or a 'Boy's' bike? Has it 26" wheels? Balloon tires? What designed to do? How to treat it? Anything interesting and helpful.
Thank you and a warm holiday to all who browse here.
Here are the only pictures I was able to come up with. What is the dividing line between Pre-War and Post-War in our domain here? The clearly post-war bikes with single bars are all boy's bikes. Are mine and Slick's also Boy's design? An if so, what features make them Boy's? Why one bar - Like the 60 's Raleigh Colt, boy's bike. and of course, what do you think I should do with/to it after making it rideable?
