Tuesdays night ride to Huntington Beach had a good turn out. Was cool with light wind. Astroyama, this is the photo you requested, 6 corn tortillas stacked two high in three places covered in chunks of arrachera steak about two inches high with a bag of chopped onion and cilantro and a spicy green sauce washed down with a Mexico coke. I almost forgot I was riding my Mystery Cruiser .

Makes me want to scramble some eggs to stir it all in with.
I finally got around to giving my True Torch CBR Replica an overhaul after riding it steady for about four years.

This was my first time inside the Sachs Duomatic two speed coaster brake.
Not too difficult, and built like a Swiss watch.
I never noticed the telltale sound of the freewheel pawls before.
I had no idea, those things were even in there.
Pictured here with the long in coming Junior Lifeguard Headquarters.
The City of Newport Beach has been trying to get this built for the last 30 years.
Better late than never I guess?
I think my JTT 3Bar is thinking the same thing about its recent lube job.

We used to tweak the shifting point on those in 1975 on our BMX bikes. They were very expensive then but worked so very well.

While at lunch today in Sunset Beach, @cyclingday, AKA Marty shows up, so, I had another ice tea and we rode back to the trucks together. Great sunny low 60s day. Marty's JTT three bar cruiser and my Mystery Cruiser. 18 miles round trip.

I love both of these bikes!! They have very different, but beautiful geometries. The Mystery looks so relaxed and laid back and the True Torch 3 bar looks tight and fast! Love seeing them being ridden, every time.
