I live for the CABE
Been watching this bike on my local Craigslist for a couple of weeks; didn't give it much thought at first, but then I saw the skiptooth crank, the rear-facing drop outs, and the long spring seat poking out from beneath that ridiculous faux sheepskin seat cover and realized this might warrant some further investigation. Based on the frame geometry, my first thought was that it was a Schwinn Model C, but the hump on the top tube is more pronounced that the Schwinn's, so is it a 37-38 Colson? I'm still waiting to hear back from the seller as to a serial number, but he's selling it as a 'Schwinn Beach Cruiser', so he probably won't be of any help determining its true provenance. Any guesses?

Found this thread, which states that a curved rear triangle points to it being a '35: https://thecabe.com/forum/threads/huffman-find-1934.60846/

The bike above and the one in the listing both have the wrong forks which can be tough. The CL bike also has the wrong wheels, fenders, pedals, and handlebars. Speaking of handlebars if the bike were cheap enough I'd buy it just for those. This would make a nice klunker build or if you lucked out on the missing parts for reasonable you could take it back to stock.

I realize that it's a frankenbike, but I'm not looking to restore it, I don't have those kinds of funds.

Yeah, Huffman moto-bike/ Super-Score! in my opinion, lol
