Started the cleaning process. One of the filthiest bikes I've ever purchased, buy hey, I'm up to the challenge.

Rear hub shows January of 1970, and I assume this is about when they went from painted fenders to chrome.
 
I actually sold it to a young guy wanting to learn how to work on bikes. For $60 he was very happy, and he got a nice clean bike, at least. (I kept the pump and saddle bag, so I still made out in the plus column in my opinion).

I want another WITH a kickstand and in better condition. These little things are blast to ride, and I still have my green one. ;)
 
Are these considered lightweights, middleweights or do they need a category to themselves?
 
They are considered folders. That is a category by itself. Tires are middleweight sized 1.75 on most but I have seen them with 2.125 also. Some the ones sold in England also use 1 3/8 tires. All are FOLDERs. Roger
