Just to "chime in" here. As Shawn @Freqman1 said, they are a favourite accessory/addition/swap on late 30's to 40's "Art Deco/Streamlined" bicycle examples with the teardrop swept back look. That said, I think they look great on some 1950's ( and were sold and available) bikes with jet like themes equally as well. At the end of the day it's a personal taste decision and if someone doesn't like what they see, they can pound salt or get intimate with a hat.
That just takes your breath away. Gotta be one of the coolest bikes I've ever seen. The graphics are stunning.
