So given everything I've read so far there seem to be variations in every one of these bikes, scooters, sleds, etc... If that's the case whose to say every one of these is a genuine Alexander? Seems to me it would be fairly easy to replicate these. Thoughts?
Who is to say for sure? I have had this thing for years, long before they became popular. I guess i am not too concerned about it. From the frames I have seen they all appear to be legit. Was advised to mount engine and rear rim to determine placement of rim that acts as the sheve. It makes sense to me due to the many variations on these frames. Regards

Posted one of my frame and fork and a pix of one for reference on Rocket scooter thread. Will be posting more soon.

There are many things that identify them. The type of welds for example. He melted down hangers to make the welds.
On the rocket bikes he used gas pipe (hollow) for the frames.
Studying as many as I have (more than just the ones I own) I can begin to identify his techniques.
It’s a very fascinating field of study 🧐

Indeed!

Very cool. Those are not the same ones. For one thing note the seat tube on the white one curves different from yours.
That’s the beauty of Alexander made bikes and scooters, there’s at least minor but often times major differences in each bike and scooter.
That’s why I buy all I can. Each is different.
I like what you are doing with yours! Keep us posted
Don't want to derail the original posters thread, but I had been wondering why you've been going all in for these Rocket bikes. I get it now.

Great post! Welcome to the CABE! There are a bunch of variations of the Rocket Scooter frames. Everything Alexander made was a little different. I have seen several different engines used in them. Keep us posted with updates on yours. Here is my rear wheel for my scooter.

Thank you! I am gathering up period correct bits for my scoot. Want to get rear rim sorted. Picked up a set of drop center rims that I iwas going to use with a wizzer sheve that came with frame. Only problem is I would have to cut a really nice Colson rear fender. It seems that the style rim in your pix would place the sheve out side the fender. Identify know for sure. Any info on type of rear hubs were used. Not sure I'd a coster brake was used or not. I want to use a Monarch Supper Twin rear hub and ND .105 front brake.

Bits gathered up thus for Rocket bike.

Awesome parts!! I love what you’re doing! You probably know this but maybe others do not.
Please know I’m not knocking what you’re doing, just wanted to point out that the badge is a reproduction and that scooters did not have badges.
One of mine has a reproduction badge from the previous owners too. Looks great as will yours!
I’m looking forward to seeing your build! 💜💜

Yes sir! I not only have both rockets and girls Alexander bikes and the scooters but a whole lot of other things that came from the Alexander factory / shop too.
They are extremely interesting!

As Mike Wolfe says “they get my juices flowing!”

I’m selling ALMOST all my other bikes to focus strictly on Alexander items!

I love the OP’s passion for his scooter!
I get it!
