I’m selling one of my favorite ballooners! ‘37/’38 Rollfast Doublebar Roadster. OG paint with some of the original pins and graphics still visible. Period Rollfast horn tank was added and is a repaint but still retains the original black factory paint underneath. The horn doesn’t work but may with some fidgeting. Nice straight triple step rims with a cleaned and recently serviced Morrow hub. New John’s red/cream tires with new threaded Schroeder valve stems tubes to keep it a period correct example. Fenders are Wald I believe… altered rear attachment to fit the Roadster frame (see photo). Fitted with period correct flat fender braces and killer reflectors. Fantastic crossbars complemented with nice original period grips. Super cool plain parade bars complement the front of the bike and work well with the crossbars. Rollfast signature neck. The saddle is a nice OG Persons retaining the Persons stamp. Still a very ridable saddle. I have the saddle height set for what I call ‘event height’ (plus it looks low and cool lol!). An extended seat post may be necessary for a comfortable ride, but I’ll leave the up to the new owner. All fasteners are patina matched if replaced.
Overall a great period looking/riding bike with a hint of Ratrod! A great ride to tool around the swaps! Local pick up welcomed or $150 shipping with bike totally disassembled and all safely packaged.
