Thanks. The adjusting and fixed cones look like curved bevel design and matched to 9 x 5/16" ball (#64) caged bearings.
Similar to a set I have in pic below

Pulled crankarm from 1988 Schwinn Cruiser model (badge stamp 1588), it has 9 ball cage bearings with dimple bevel cones. So based on this find, updated below date ranges for Schwinn bottom bracket / crank bearings 66 (10 ball) and 64 (9 ball]
Prewar up to 1942/1946ish: #66 / 10 ball
1942/1946ish - 1988ish: #64 / 9 ball
Post 1988ish: 10 ball
Date cutoffs remain fuzzy.

88 is possible, probably even later. I knew 80 was way too early. That's a Fu Pao crank. It's a fairly high quality forged one (like Ashtabula, but foreign made). Fu Pao usually werent finished nearly as good as Asthtabula or even as well as Schwinn's other American sources (Wald?) they used in the earlier days. It might even be Chrome Moly, look on the other side of the center part for a mark. It's 165mm like every other 26 inch Schwinn with a one piece crank after the war. By 1988 Chicago Schwinn and Ashtabula were long gone, but as you can see the parts are still more or less to to traditional Schwinn specification. I'll bet that crank is 28TPI too.
