Wore out three sets of tires already!
Can anyone tell me the year of this Schwinn Cruiser. I'm guessing 1990's. Is it worth anything?

Bikes from that era have the serial number stamped into the head tube and the date stamped into the head badge. Post pictures of those two numbers and someone can date it for you.

I should have mentioned I do not own this bike. I am considering buying it. This is the only picture I have and do not have access to the bike. I'm assuming someone can give me a ballpark on the picture I provided.

Read this CABE thread and it will tell you a lot about your Hungarian Schwinn which is circa 1993.

As far as value, after the cruiser production left Chicago the quality, value, and collector's desirability of the Schwinn cruiser line diminished greatly.

My 1984 Schwinn Cruiser 5 was from the era when the parts were built in Chicago then shipped to Lawrenceburg for assembly. The quality is the same. Without those date codes you can't tell when or where the bike was built.

Appears to be a 1995.

Its very clear from the pictures its long after Schwinn left USA, the curves of the frame, the chain guard, the way the brakes are attached to frame, badge, decals, seat, neck etc. all 90's china, not worth much except as a rider if that's what you want. Good Luck

That's a 1995 100th Anniversary model I believe, most of those were made in the USA but they had to learn to do it all over again.

It's the 5-speed version of my Classic Cruiser without the special tint-shifting overlays that don't tend to work nearly 25 years later.

The saddle is a Viscount comfort model IIRC that was used across the range.

Mine got torn, reupholstered and torn again and now I use an old Troxel model I favor.

To the best of my knowledge, the only 1995 anniversaray model made in the USA was the Phantom, all the rest were made in Taiwan.
