That duplicolor paint is the stuff! Dries fast, dries smooth. Pretty tough as well. No buffing needed. I’ve used it to paint a chain guard or two to match. Really impressive stuff for the fact it comes out of a can.

Dupi-color Perfect Match has/had a color the matches the late Sky Blue. Only thing is, it's a Lacquer base fine metallic. It looks good though.
 
For being a Lacquer base.... I've used it over an Enamel silver base coat & no issues. Thats not supposed to be allowed. You can spray Enamel over Lacquer but never Lacquer over Enamel. IT REACTS .... so, this is very odd. This is 100% true with automotive paint anyway.

The duplicolor perfect match lacquer is a super fast dry paint. If the enamel is the old Schwinn enamel, it doesn’t phase it. Whatever they’re using to mix their paint. It’s definitely not as hot as a normal automotive lacquer.
