On Training Wheels
Hello all. New here too, probably should have joined years ago. Recently acquired a '62 Stingray Deluxe. Complete bike, just needs cleanup and a tire. While it does have a coaster brake, it also has front and rear rim brakes. There are no cables and no levers. Also no evidence of levers ever being on the handlebars. There is a strong bridge above the rear wheel to attach the rear brake. I can find no reference of this vintage Stingray ever having rim brakes. I should add a picture but for now does anyone know if early Stingrays had rim brakes? Thanks in advance.

No 1962 Stingray , what is the serial number and where is it located. Sounds like you may have a bike made up from other parts. Pictures are needed
