Picked up some oddball posters, nothing early or particularly valuable, but they caught my eye because these were the types of things still hanging in the Schwinn shops when I first peeked my head in the door as a kid.
The cartoon carrot just made me laugh...bizarre marketing! Ha
The dino I instantly recognized as being from PeeWee's Big Adventure, of the Cabazon Dinosaurs.
And a really late Cruiser poster/calendar showing both the Diamond Frame Cruisers and the Cantilever Frame Cruisers marketed together. Mostly I just liked the theater building in the background....and the T-bird with the Continental Kit! I had a framed poster of the same car on the wall as a kid.
I scooped up a couple boxes of early Bendix parts, some long Sturmey axles, Mattatuck parts, some 3.3.3. Overload cables, more Schwinn axles(stamped 55), and a bunch of other miscellaneous hardware.
Snagged some literature too, a Memphis Dealer ad binder, a Louisville Cycle ad binder, some 64 order forms, and a nifty 73 Dealers National Convention Notebook(blank, without any juicy info though).
Thanks Bob!
