I continued celebrating St Patrick’s day ( and love of green bikes) by picking up 2 more green bikes at Burley Creek swap past 2 days.

View attachment 2204866.First got this ‘41 Apple green Z model Schwinn that’s I’ve been eying for over a year, Second major purchase I did a cash, trade deal for this green Westfield Moto bike.

View attachment 2204867I know there’s notably some incorrect parts on it ( notably Higgins rear hub) and I’m not convinced fenders are original to bike but this bike drew more attention in my booth the. Z model ?, and has some serious patina. I got a pile of other stuff I haven’t unloaded yet. Many of us agreed this was the best Burley Creek swap to date.
NICE FIND,S !!!!!

My local/childhood bike/toy shop text me the other day "Hey,do you want this?" my response was "HELL YEAH!"😃

Luckily I saw it,they were about ready to start pushing the dirt back in..There were actually a few other broken pieces..who knows what else there was..I didnt hassle them too much...They didnt care about the 100+ year old bottles/pieces...☹️ But happy to get this bottle! Another piece of history from my yard!

Had my old Reciever restored took a while but glad to have it back

Very nice. I had that exact model back in the late 1980's. Still one of my all-time favorites.
It’s a Winner for sure I bought it used from a Pawn Shop in San Francisco in 1978
Only 20 Watts of old school power blows away today’s disposable junk
The restorer referred to it as the Baby Marantz

Got mine at the Salvation Army thrift store for $15 and had to replace the power button. Had to unplug it to turn it off. Hooked up a pair of 1st generation Bose 901 speakers to it. And you're correct nothing I've owned since compared.
