Wow what a week! I have been painting the basement. My bikes are all over the place. It is a mad house. Been using Zinsser Watertite waterproofing paint and hydraulic cement to waterproof the walls. Used it before and it did a great job. Usually lasts 5-7 years and then you are forced to do it again.

Picked up some really nice tool bags for a few of my bikes. Sorry for not putting it on the bike stand but the basement is a complete nightmare. Happy Sunday Funday my fellow CABERS!

The lady threw her back out a few weeks ago. This is why I couldn’t make it to MLC or Monroe this year. We are at the point to start light exercise. So I set her up with a bike she can peddle on while watching tv. Gave her the Hawthorne because it’s the easiest to get on and off of. After some test fits, she settled on Tiller bars and a Troxel #2. Fine choices if I may say so myself 👌
This really all boils down to me being able to say she finally let me park a bike in the living room!!!

I didn't do a great job of taking pictures of my haul from Monroe last week.

I picked up another Exerciser for the rim, badge, and bearings. Another 84 Mongoose All Terrain frame and fork with much better paint...for $20?!! I may just swap the Mongoose parts to this one and strip the red paint off of the other, seeing as how they are Chrome underneath...then build it up custom. The Huffman frame is a 45 and if the overpaint comes off, I have a 45 girl's donor bike. Picked up a Murray tank for a friend of mine too.

Got a box of goodies that I didn't have room to spread out and photograph. NOS 48 Sturmey drum hub was a pretty sweet score...as well as the Schwinn Dural rear hub! The most important purchase was the Park SS-1, stay straightener, thank you @detroitbike !!! It will certainly get some use.

I got a few new additions to my tin toy car collection, The tin toy #8 Blue and orange Indianapolis open wheel race car ( it has lift jacks and knock off wheels!), the blue Jag, and the rally Triumph TR3, '56 Chev wagon ambulance an unusual color/hardly warped ( they all warp) 1958 Pontiac promo.. Then I just took some group shots. Sorry if you've seen some before. I'm a loose cannon. I moved a couple of my big cars, took my '58 Triumph Trophy motorcycle for a nice ride. Washed the '50 Stude after I threw the battery into it in the storage unit, checked on the fit with the '58 Poncho. Tight at the end. I'll get out on some bicycles this week too!! Honest!! Our NHL team The Winnipeg Jets ( were down 3-1 going into the 3rd period) beat the St, Louis Blues tonight

( tied the game at 3-3 with 1.6 seconds left in regular time) then beat them in the 2nd overtime. We are in the 2nd round playing Dallas Stars starting Wed. Exciting stuff.

If you're going for the Jackson Pollock look, a bit more paint flinging might be in order.
