Sorry if I did not get the correct Schwinn description. I was referring to this:

H. Mountain Bike Frame Set
Nothing to be sorry about. Schwinn made/sold many different MTB frame sets. By using the actual part number it elimates confusion. I would hardly compare this frame set as Schwinn’s Holy Grail. The Paramount SASS was the top of the line during the original Schwinn Family ownership. John

I referred to it as the Holy Grail, because it was the first MTB frame sold by Schwinn, and because of its rarity. Not many are known to exist today, and until I posted this, not many even knew it existed................

All is good. Not many people even knew Schwinn even sold Mountain Bikes. LOL

It would be a grail for me too. When I broke my 82 Sidewinder frame in 1985, they replaced it with one of these MTB frames. (They also had to swap out cranks, brakes, and a few other smalls) It was grey with gold script decals. I sold it in 1991 to buy a more "modern" mountain bike...

I liked the SASS too. We had a couple come through the shop, including a loaner to display for when the Tour DuPont was in Hershey.

Definitely a rarely-seen frame. NOS in the box? Almost unheard of!

YES, and to find 2 of them NOS in the box is a rarity indeed. And to put even more frosting on this cake, I have a lead on another one new in the box also. I am just trying to negotiate with the seller on a final price.................!
