Oh man tell me they didn’t repaint the only known example of a blue Aerocycle?!?
Are there more than 10 Twin60s out there?
Please, folks. There are numerous BLUE AEROCYCLES. Anybody could have ordered one when new. No where NEAR as rare as folks in this hobby today imagine. Myth.
There were also several Elgin Twin-Bar models that are unknown in this hobby today, much less to even say they are rare!
You want rare under ten (10)?
• Aluminum Roadmaster Skylark.
• Aluminum Rollfast prototype.
• Aluminum Silver King Racer.
• Huffman Super Streamline stainless steel edition.
• Magnesium ...uhhhh ... well, I'll let you guys figure this one out... AND
• Titanium uhhh... well, I'll let you guys figure this one out.
• Bowden pressed metal 1946 shaftdrive prototype.
• Charlie Chaplin bicycle (ever seen one?????)
There are numerous other bicycles that were made years ago that today's hobby is totally blind to. There are some that are known but not really known. OR obscured by myths.
Or how about special bicycles like
• 1939 Mercury World's Fair display bicycle.
• 1955 Evans-Colson Firebird.
• 1934 Elgin Falcon Chicago World's Fair special giveaway prize.
There are MANY others that would fall well under the category (as this hobby would know it) of "under ten known to exist"... After all... how far does the knowledge of what does and does not exist? And what was and was not made? And in what numbers? Who decides what is "known to exist"?????
