1893-94 Winton Men's safety. This one is serial number 1007. The only other one I know of is at The Bicycle Museum of America.

Well, it's not a fancy Deluxe model, it's not shiny or sparkly, but it is rare.. It's my 35 Hawthorne Tri-Bar. I happened to see it being parted out on ebay and got what I could, the frame, crank, and fork... According to RMS37, there are only a handful of the Tri-bars, and with this one, only 2 with the straight down tube with mine being the oldest serial #.
It's my favorite rider.

As an Elgin guy this one blows my mind. Looks like it came in black and brown as well. What a cool and uniqiue find.

Another less than 10 Elgin that springs to mind is the long rank bike with the chrome tank, gothic guard and light mounted to the struts

A lot of bikes fit into this category. Most TOC bikes, and if you want to do colors a bunch more. No doubt, anything less than 10 is rare but a lot of these won't have the collector interest to make them valuable. Below is one of my rarest bikes. This is the only complete '34 Huffman camelback I know of. It is also one of my least expensive bikes.

I'll throw Pre '33 Schwinn Arch Truss and Double Arch bars into the mix. Certainly plenty produced so not rare in that sense but not a lot of known examples out there...

Here’s one of those bikes that on the surface seems to be quite plentiful.
Until you realize that 90% of all the ones you think you’ve seen are fake/tribute built bikes.
I’m guessing that there are most likely way more than 10 excellent original condition examples surviving, but they are few and far between.
This 1918 Harley-Davidson Motorcyke is one of the finest original condition examples of this model known to exist.

There seems to be way more of these around than there actually is, thanks to everyone’s desire to own one.
Same goes for the Indian Motorbikes.
They are not as common as you think they are, thanks to all the tribute bikes that have been fabricated.
Less than 10 original examples?
Who’s to say?
But in this level of original condition?
Yeah, I’d say less than 10 is a fair assessment.
