How many of these are there? 1940 big lit tank ladies twinflex?

I was all set to put one in for the ladies but @volksboy57 beat me to it. My wife's rider, a 1949 Rollfast w/ some liberties. I've checked, you're not gonna find anywhere near ten of these out there. Beautiful design, in my opinion, Definitely Skylarkesque. I picked up this bare frame after it was parted out by a good Caber who couldn't sell it complete. Had some fun w/it. We live in a mountainous area, at least, by east coast standards, the road to our house was an old ski slope. The E bikes work out well here.

So as an Elgin guy, is it safe to say there’s less than 19 known of these?:

Twin 50
Twin 70
Robin shaft drive
Gull
Chrome long tank
Deluxe 2spd 38 bluebird

Am I missing any?
Missing a BUNCH!

And what ought to be said is that this hobby– as it exists today only knows either what's on CABE... or what the photocopy "books" show. Or what your heroes on here tell you is cool or rare. And that's certainly no where near complete. Especially in the case of Elgins.

Ever seen a Twin-Bar 25? Or a Twin-Bar 35? Or a Twin-Bar Christmas Special? Or an Elgin GIRL'S shaftdrive? Doc Natkin had an Elgin "Twin-Bar Christmas Special" back in the very early 1970s. It was displayed (slightly modified) at a couple of Larry McNeely's "Re-cycled Cycles" events in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa, California back then. But who know this fact today?

I'm betting no one here has seen one... or if they did, knew what it was...

Ahhhhhhhh! Now, THAT'S A CHOICE PIECE! WOW! And as clean as the Board of Health! The old guys I knew back at the design center and at Evans Products /Evans-Colson in Plymouth, Michigan would be smiling broadly to see this! Congratulations.

I still have my NOS 1955 Evans-Colson Olympic. I had two Firebirds, but both were taken when I was robbed 22 years ago.

Wow, we'd love to see some pics?

No I don’t think I have seen those..ever seen a Twin 85? Blackhawk Ground Hogs Day Special? Would you like to contribute some actual useful information and pics, or hoard your info so you can continue to look down on us peons?

We are all well aware you were one of if not the first person to collect antique bicycles. Thats great. Thank you for your service. But honestly this “I know something I won’t tell” shtick is tiresome at this point.
@rockabillyjay thank you for your comment as it echo's the thoughts of many.
