Marine Corps bikes seem to be coming out of the woodwork lately.
This one is incredible. Great find. The good photos document so much
perfectly.
Thank you. I wanted to show as much as possible for others in pursuit to know what to compare. There are so many tributes out there and these Marine bikes a little less common, though popping up more recently as you stated!

Hi Chad @Chadillac and thanks for supplying the information and detailed photos.

I will quote what I said before, to get the information in one place.

MC18089A/L2 Frame made in February 1944, built up in March 1944.

It is one of the last G519 type bikes made.

As the seller says, it is an ex USMC bike, and looks substantially complete and in good condition, including the hard to find wheels and tyres.

Below is my current list of USMC survivors known (I am aware of one more lightweight, the owner is getting back to me with details).

Best Regards,

Adrian

This is the biggest WOW!! emoji I could find.
Your bicycle, as you already know, is fantastic.
We all thought it was great before the cleanup.
