Just tying to tighten the loose seat from swiveling from left to right on my 1940 Western Flyer
Cut the hardware store substitute seat bolt on my 1940 WF. This jewel just spun while trying to tighten it.

Ah..found a bolt that should work.

Didn't have to cut this one..it just snapped.🤦

Started assembly of a 39 B model build I’ve been working on .

Got the headset cups installed in the frame, greased the bearings and installed the fork.

Installed a stem and some crossbrace bars. Then installed the chrome drop center wheelset with some new clay tires and rolled it out of the garage.

Thought I’d call it a day, but the suspense of seeing the front fender on , got the best of me. Was gonna wait till I get some longer braces for the rear but went ahead and installed the braces I have on the front so I could get a visual of how the reverse painted fenders are gonna look.

Man what a killer paint/combo on that one!

My friend that worked on my Robin fenders also welded my 1940 Hawthorne All American headlight..seems a common problem where the bracket pops off the "teacup" light..I asked 2 people to weld it."cant do it..too thin, etc" Mark said.."give me a second.." 😎 Now I just need my 1 aluminum truss rod to get this bike complete and ready to go through/finish..Ive had this bike for.. just over 4 years now..😢
