If an item is not shipped, (more importantly to the buyer, not received (doh), because it has not been shipped), but the seller has merely purchased a shipping label, (which causes the eBay status to indicate shipped, even if it has not shipped), then the buyer can request a full refund through eBay;
reason: item not received.

Her story seems to mostly add up.
She did not ship. The buyer did not receive. Ebay decides for the buyer, who gets full refund, (for item not received).

The only part that I don't get is her twice (2) recommendations for Micargi bikes?

This forum is about bicycles.

Shoot . Would u wanna buy my bike?. That's super cool that you are massing up an inventory. I bet you got some pretty cool rides and would look killer to see them all together! Don't throw any of them away! Noooo never lol. Ebay sucks everyone should boycott it. Never been to a swap:( And have yet to fully try Craigslist out(I don't know I get started on the post and just never quite finish?) Marketplace on FB is a joke 75% of the time, never have luck with that one. But.... I can give you my Mercari link if youd want to check it out there too, or I'd also be thrilled making my first sale on here if you are interested:)

eBay doesn't suck.....It depends what you are selling ...I sell many many bike parts there......but it's a process ....and you have to be selling what someone wants.....

Trying to sell a Fair Lady for $250 can be a tough sale anywhere.......buyers find them locally for $100 +/-.....so the fact your bike isn't selling is not ebays fault.....it's yours.....

View attachment 1945955this guy canceled the order and told me not to ship it. I should've just shipped it anyway I guess...cause I got stuck with that but it wierd they billed me again for another shipping label
they screwed up and screwed me over
eBay doesn't "bill" for shipping labels.....you purchase a label when you are ready to ship....if the buyer cancels, you can request that your label (USPS) be cancelled....if you haven't shipped the item, you should be refunded.....

100% correct. The only way you get billed for a shipping label is to manually click on the purchase label button! But there is still a short window for the seller to cancel the label after the purchase of the label.

Because their fees are out of control. I was billed shipping still because someone canceled an order last minute. Put me in the negative. So I went to refund the person but also refunded the shipping they "paid for" when in turn I also have to buy a.l label? It is so screwy and everything has a fee. And I haven't done near the amount in sales compared to my mercari platform.

Below is a link to the "FEES" associated with selling on Mercari. Their fees are just about the same as Ebay, they are just structured differently! So at the end of the sale, it is about the same 13% either way! LOL

I couldn't agree more!

It is funny how people constantly complain about the fees associated with selling on Ebay! I just adjust my pricing to incorporate the fees into my pricing. Ebay gives me way more exposure to the customer base that I am looking to sell to. Is is a win-win for me! I do list some stuff here on the Cabe, but it rarely sells. Just to many people wanting something for next to nothing because they are a "CABE MEMBER" and they feel I should be willing to sell it to them at a reduced rate.........LOL

I don't do Craigslist, or FB marketplace for sales. I have no time to spend running around to meet someone for a delivery, and I don't want anyone coming by my residence for a pick up. And the FB marketplace is full of scammers!!!!!!
Ebay is the best....like you said more exposure and people stepping up to buy things.....and that is it you adjust your prices to pay the 13%!!!!

Yes, it is a simple concept that some folks can't seem to grasp!

I am lucky enough to have seen the good old days of buying & selling on Ebay. There were some great deals to be had, no sales tax added onto the items I purchased, and a reasonable cost associated with selling.

The Ebay seller fees are just like the $15+ minimum wage, the higher the cost of providing the goods is just absorbed into the end price to the consumer!
