I stopped selling anything! Don’t care for dealing with it local or shipping. So I’m just buying and hoarding! Anything from high end “dream bikes” to crappy low end junk I should throw away. I have tons of storage space so I just buy!
But I appreciate those who sell here and at swaps. And as catfish said I deal a lot with people just sending me a message asking if I want to buy rather than them listing it. Private sales are best
Shoot . Would u wanna buy my bike?. That's super cool that you are massing up an inventory. I bet you got some pretty cool rides and would look killer to see them all together! Don't throw any of them away! Noooo never lol. Ebay sucks everyone should boycott it. Never been to a swap:( And have yet to fully try Craigslist out(I don't know I get started on the post and just never quite finish?) Marketplace on FB is a joke 75% of the time, never have luck with that one. But.... I can give you my Mercari link if youd want to check it out there too, or I'd also be thrilled making my first sale on here if you are interested:)

I retired from eBay, don't know why people say it sucks, it's a business and it has to make money, FB makes their money in ads and selling your info, eBay doesn't sell your info. I like CL because I can meet people at a local parking lot so they don't need to come to my house.

I'm in NYC. sold many 60's -70's everyday riders - like 80 bikes & other collectible stuff on / off last 10 years on Craigslist, so is just a side money thing. I tell them we meet outside at local police pct & we confirm by emails only. scammers usually don't like to type much via e mails. I had a few no shows & no buy but usually is 95% sell. sold many items on ebay but long time ago.

Out of curiosity, why do you feel Ebay sucks so much as to suggest everyone boycott it?????
Because their fees are out of control. I was billed shipping still because someone canceled an order last minute. Put me in the negative. So I went to refund the person but also refunded the shipping they "paid for" when in turn I also have to buy a.l label? It is so screwy and everything has a fee. And I haven't done near the amount in sales compared to my mercari platform.

That doesn't make any sense???? I never get billed for shipping until I actually pay for, and print my shipping label. Also, the shipping discounts (up to 30%) through Ebay shipping are much better than going directly to the UPS, or USPS website!

Ebay charges one flat fee for the transaction, 13.25% I just factor that into my pricing for the item I am selling!

this guy canceled the order and told me not to ship it. I should've just shipped it anyway I guess...cause I got stuck with that but it wierd they billed me again for another shipping label
they screwed up and screwed me over

This is still not making any sense! There is no way the buyer can cancel if you have already purchased a shipping label. Buyer can only cancel orders with YOUR approval. Ebay can not cancel it for them without your approval. So something is still not adding up with your story?????

Here is the Ebay link that clearly explains it.............
