So what’s up with these seats? I see some have a nice concave to them, and some are really flat and puffy looking. Always thought they were different but they have the same frames. I have a girls cruiser with one that has a nice concave.

LOL, it's hard to imagine that we are talking about a period 45 years ago.

The Cruiser seats in question were poorly made "reproduction" seats at the time, made to look like the models the same manufacturer made during the 1940's and 1950's. They had most of the look, but not much of the quality and comfort.

Being all the detailed information of a 1980 Schwinn Deluxe Cruiser ... here is the Schwinn specifications sheet ...
7098 Saddle /Tan ... 3072A / Gumwall Tires ... Grips color matched? I've only ever seen the Black cushion grips used.

That catalog pic, and spec sheet shows the bikes with a Middleweight Frame before the changeover to the newer style Cruiser Frame.

I'm thinking 1980 is the last year for the Schwinn Specifications Catalogs with part numbers for each model, I have never seen a 1981, 1982 or 1983, only specifications sheet, with no part numbers.

They probably looked into their crystal ball back then and knew that in the 21st century a bunch of bike enthusiasts would be scrutinizing the text they put in the documents in forums like this, and decided to omit it from the spec sheets......................! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
