Frame is cleaned and on the stand, will be ordering some new decals at some point.

All put back together now. Didn’t go too crazy on the cleaning, just a little freshen up. Popped on one of my mesinger seats I had laying, new chain, and some used tires I got at the local bicycle parts shop. Kept it on the cheap. Unsure of what to do regarding the chain guard. The screen was so chalky it would instantly transfer to my fingers if I touched it. Bummer it is a little too far gone. Eventually I will order new decals, and maybe come up with something to redo the “deluxe.” For now, this is how it’s sitting in my lineup.

Made some changes yet again, this will most likely be it’s final form, other than maybe some new top tube decals, tinkering and upgrading certain pieces.

Finally a correct seat fell into my hands for cheap. It isn’t perfect but neither is the bike. Managed to find some near new Innova knobbies at the local bike co-op last week, and put it all together. I know the black walls technically aren’t correct but I felt like it suited the bike more than the white walls.

Those seats do not stand the test of time. They tend to get bent up quite easily even with the reinforcement ribs on the frame. I would put the black mesinger on it if you plan on riding this one any amount.

It’s mostly for looks. I’d probably have a little more concern if the seat didn’t have tears in it and it wasn’t essentially free. I only showed the good side lol
