Always thought JC Higgins and Sears should have done this, but didn't. So I did! I wanted to have a tail light, but didn't want to change the original look of the bike. Martyn Donaldson (Fltwd57) was kind enough to send me the reflector and housing that were missing from the bike when I bought it, thank you! Put some thought into the idea and went to Radio Shack. 2 AA battery holders mounted under the rear carrier, some wiring, a red led bulb, and a hot glue gone did the trick. No holes, and everything is hidden. Took about 3 hours and cost $16. If anyone wants to know how, send me a PM and I'll give you the part numbers and some more pics.

Ditto...very cool

It's all about the Tanklights!!

How did I run out of room so fast?

Cool, i was curious if there were more lit up reflectors..
Because i have lit up the reflector of my ladies bike also.
I have put in a 3 LEDs-strip, which is powered by a 8,4v RC accupack.
The accupack will be hidden in the tank, the wire is pulled trough the frame and hidden behind the fenderbrace.
The head light will also be powered by the same accupack.
