That Pontiac wagon was kool. It was a beast. I had barely had it a week, when Chicago had an exceptionally bad snowstorm. It was a Saturday morning and I was driving around with 3 friends, all of us bored. Don't remember why we were, or where we we going, but we were talking about what a heavy car it was and how great it was plowing through the heavy snow covered streets. We were passing a church that had a huge parking lot that had just been plowed. No parked cars in it and big mounds of fresh piled snow on one end. I quickly made a right turn and said to my pals, "Watch this....better hang on!" I floored it, planning on hitting one of the piles, thinking the heavy car would plow right through it. Turned out there were new bundles of brick, steel banded together, buried in the snow bank. The church was having an addition built . Cubes a couple feet wide and maybe 3 feet high of solid brick, hidden behind the fresh plowed snow. We were flying when I plowed into it. The Pontiac's radiator exploded and the car had front end damage to the right control arm. Sorry , no photos. I tried to fix it, but the car had major issues after that.
