80s Taiwanese cruiser restomods

Starting a new thread to document this project. I found a set of matching unmolested “his and her” Schwinn cruisers being sold for $75. I figured it would be fun to rebuild and upgrade them with some new 80s style BMX parts for my wife and I to ride. Male date code is March 31st 1988 and female is May 7th 1988.

Captain Pabst, Not to critique you bicycle or information but looking at your other post of the dates on bicycles, men's badge number is 0908 making it Wednesday, March 30, 1988 and the women's badge number 1278 making it Friday, May 6, 1988, it was a "Leap Year" you were off by one day.

Captain Pabst, Not to critique you bicycle or information but looking at your other post of the dates on bicycles, men's badge number is 0908 making it Wednesday, March 30, 1988 and the women's badge number 1278 making it Friday, May 6, 1988, it was a "Leap Year" you were off by one day.
