“ hmm definitely don’t want to do that”
^Your kickstand removal method comes to mind🤣🤣🤣

I love the color, I’m a sucker for all shades of green. And with the cream rubber 😎
Are you still going to put holes in the tank area?

Seems I do as well, is there a support group for this type of affliction?

The angle of the seat post has looked off for me and I think it was the bars that were the real issue. I messed with a couple options last night and be damned if these Wald bars don’t fit perfect. Seat position is much comfier not so long a reach, the angle matches the seat post and the extra chrome brings it all together and looks alot classier.

I really like where you ended up on this one. Such ambition to build one all up (black) only to strip it all the way back down for an entirely new direction! You are creative and talented! I thought the metal tank "mock up" with the holes was really cool I was surprised when you went with wood for the actual tank, but it looks sweet with the color match tires. The black forks throw my eye off a bit, I may have tried Crome box forks...?
Awesome work and build!

Cheers!

Current status and not a great photo. Finished front fender this morning and cut and primed rear fender last night. Had a major set back with none drive side of the tank. Grabbed wrong can of clear coat so put oil based over acrylic and 50% of the tank is wrinkled. Kinda of gutted right now🫣

Think I will paint the fork green to match frame. Will need to redo non drive side of tank but it’s god enough for now. Not happy with the white tips on the fenders they’re too long for my liking so repaint gonna happen there as well. Bike rides like a dream that’s for sure. Full on cruiser mode here.
