Kick-Back Hub

I installed a brand new (Sturmy Archer?) kick back hub. What is the “popping” noise I occasionally hear? Sounds like it skips a cog or gear slightly. The gears seem to shift correctly but the occasional slight “pop” is annoying. Any ideas? System is fully lubed.

Do you have the job adjustment to tight?
