Love my 81, sucks about all the rust. Pretty original.

This is all great stuff but note really supposed to be posting on this thread. This thread is for pics and short descriptions of coaster brake models. You can start your own post right in the all things Schwinn forum or find another post about these bikes and post there. No worries we all appreciate the info and pics of your bikes. Sticking to the appropriate topic makes it less confusing.

Thanks for the advice and support. I started a new post to document the work and will continue to update progress there: https://thecabe.com/forum/threads/80s-taiwanese-cruiser-restomods.267058/

It's crazy cause I have a 26" JTT Robinson replica and a 27.5 PK Ripper, and I enjoy riding this classic more.

I get it. I have a blue Big Ripper HD, a gold Fast Ripper, a chrome 29” SuperCross SX250 35th anniversary, and I’m getting ready to have a brown SuperCake Boy 29” GT Pro Performer powder coated lavender to look like a 1987, but these old Schwinns (mine are done up as klunker/BMX cruisers admittedly) are so much more fun to ride.
